Some things we believe (2025 edition):

• The stack is a means, not an identity.
  Rust, TypeScript, Kotlin - these are tools. What matters is clarity, reliability, and changeability.
• "Modern" means boring and observable.
  Framework churn doesn’t equal progress. If you can’t trace a crash in production, it’s not modern.
• AI is here - embrace it, but think for yourself.
  LLMs scaffold and accelerate, but they can’t understand tradeoffs. Judgment still matters.
• Latency is UX.
  If your app takes 2 seconds to respond, users will think it’s broken. Speed is a feature.
• Microservices are a tax until they’re a necessity.
  Start with a modular monolith. Split when Conway’s Law demands it.
• Full-stack means owning the problem, not every layer.
  Know how the front-end, back-end, and database talk - then choose your leverage.
• Your database schema is your real API.
  Treat it with care. Migrations should be boring. Naming things is part of architecture.
• Meetings should be sparse, decisions irreversible.
  High-bandwidth conversations beat weekly standups. Decide once. Move fast.
• The best developers want leverage, not hierarchy.
  Empower talent. Reduce process. Let the best ideas win.
• Tech debt is not sin - it’s a loan.
  Take it when speed matters. Pay it off before it breaks the foundation.
• Startups die from indigestion, not starvation.
  Build less. Launch earlier. Reduce scope. Stay sharp.
• In enterprises, bloat hides behind process.
  Scope creep feels safe. Committees feel smart. But nothing reveals truth like a user in production.
• Shipping fixes culture.
  Deployment is the moment of truth. Teams that ship frequently stay healthy.
• Documentation should feel like a conversation.
  Docs are the first teammate you meet. Write them to make someone else faster.

Why no logos or images?

Because simplicity works. It’s not just aesthetic - it’s a principle. We start here, with our website, and bring it to every project. Clean over clever. Clear over cute. If it doesn’t help the user or the business, it doesn’t belong. That’s in our DNA.
